Asset Management — SCMC

The asset system started life as an Excel file that had grown for years — roughly ten thousand rows, inconsistent columns, the same thing spelled three ways, and duplicates.

I wrote the data cleansing pass that normalised all of it and mapped it into a correct database structure, then built the UI, fetching through React Query against the documented Swagger API.

The part users liked most: a QR code per asset, encoded from its database id, printable in batches straight from a selection in the data table.
